Career information

World War Two

Richard Bell Davies retired on 29 May 1941, then a Rear Admiral serving at Naval Air stations (HMS Daedalus). He joined the Royal Naval reserve with the lower rank of Commodore. In this new role he served as a convoy commodore and then took command of the escort carrier HMS Dasher.
