Career information
Chris Boardman was from How Hill House in the village of Ludham in Norfolk. In 1934 he was part of the crew of Endeavour the challenger for the Americas Cup. In 1936, he won a gold medal at the Olympic Games at the helm of the 6m yacht Lalage. Chris served on HMS Cape Sable in 1940/41. He later commanded HMS Snow.
