Tullibee launched a surface attack on a small Japanese convoy. As she closed the target, she fired two torpedoes. One of the torpedoes made a circular run and struck the Tullibee. She sank with all hands except for one survivor who was rescued and spent the rest of the war labouring in Japan's copper mines. (1)
