HMS Kingcup (Lt. R.A.D. Cambridge, RNR) picks up two survivors from the Belgian merchant Limbourg that was torpedoed and sunk earlier that day by the German U-boat U-48 about 170 miles south of Reykjavik in position 61°18’N, 22°05’W.

11 Dec 1941
HMS Kingcup (Lt.Cdr. R.A.D. Cambridge, DSC, RNR) picks up 33 survivors from the British merchant Kirnwood and 56 survivors from the British merchant Kurdistan that were torpedoed and sunk the previous day by German U-boat U-130 west of Rockall in position 56°57'N, 16°35'W.
