History Completed in April 1924 
Notes on loss At 01.16 hours on 24 Feb, 1941, the Linaria (Master Henry T. Speed), dispersed from convoy OB-288, was hit by one G7e torpedo from U-96 and sank by the stern southwest of Reykjavik. The master, 30 crew members and three gunners were lost.
