Personal information

of Råå. On 27 Oct, 1916, Johan M.L. Bruce was the master of the Swedish schooner Ellen which was stopped and sunk by U-58 (Wippen) in the North Sea. He and his crew were rescued by the Norwegian steamer Tommeliten.
