Personal information

Son of Sverre and Anna Margrethe Pettersen, of Oslo. He was killed while serving as steward aboard the Norwegian motor merchant Tercero, which was damaged in a collision with the Liberty ship Casimir Pulaski in convoy XB-98 on 1 March 1944.
