Personal informationSon of Colin and Sarah Hood. During the passage of convoy JW-56A, he was transferred from HMS Obdurate to Penelope Barker to treat one of her armed guards for appendicitis. After the ship was torpedoed he went below together with the armed guard officer to assist trapped seamen and both men were lost when she suddenly sank. |
