History Completed in June 1914 as Danish Rosenborg for A/S D/S Dannebrog (C.K. Hansen), Copenhagen. 1940 taken over by Britain and transferred to the Ministry of War Transport (MoWT). 
Notes on event

At 01.43 hours on 25 April 1943 the Rosenborg (Master Peter Volmar Petersen), a straggler from convoy RU-71, was hit by two torpedoes from U-386 north of Rockall and sank within 30 seconds. The master, 21 crew members, four gunners and two passengers were lost. Two crew members were picked up by the British rescue ship Goodwin (Master George Lewis Campbell, OBE) and landed at Clyde on 28 April.
