History After 07.10 hours on 15 July 1944, U-679 (Breckwoldt) had a gun duel with two Soviet submarine chasers in grid AO 3355 in the Baltic Sea. The attacked vessels could have been MO-104 and MO-105
Notes on event

At 11.42 hours on 30 July 1944 the MO-105 was hit by one G7e torpedo from U-250 and sank immediately at the north side of the Koivisto strait in the Gulf of Finland. The explosion brought other Soviet submarine chasers to the location and the U-boat was located and sunk in the evening by MO-103 (Aleksander Kolenko).
