| Notes on loss | At 17.32 hours on 16 Apr, 1945, the Athelduke (Master Joseph Errett) in convoy FS-1784 was torpedoed and sunk by U-1274 east of Newcastle. One crew member was lost. The master, 41 crew members and four gunners were picked up by the British merchant King Neptune. | ||
