Transferred to the Soviet Union on 15 February 1943 being renamed RPT 3.
Sunk on 28 February 1943 while on passage to Great Britain aboard the American merchant vessel Wade Hampton.
The Wade Hampton was torpedoed and sunk in the North Atlantic in position 59.49N, 34.43W by the German submarine U-405.
