Around 1345FG/11, the escort carrier HMS Khedive (A/Capt. D.H. Magnay, RN) departed Colombo for Trincomalee where she arrived around 1845FG/12. She was escorted by the destroyer Carbiniere. (1)

3 Jul 1945
Around 1530FG/3, HMS Colossus (Capt. G.H. Stokes,CB, DSC, RN) departed Colombo for Madras. On leaving harbour some aircraft were flown on during which the Italian destroyer Carbiniere conducted plane guard duties.

The destroyer parted company around 1905FG/3. (2)
