History

Escorted carriers, landed Korean intelligence teams on hostile shores and carried out shore bombardment during Korean War. Served one tour in Vietneam War in 1966.

1 July 1972 Transferred to Greek Navy as Kanaris (D-212)Stricken in 1994. Removed 8 April 2002 from Suda Bay, Crete, towed to Turkey to be scrapped.
