History

Damaged by gunfire from British warships at Mers-el-Kebir on 3 July 1940.
Further damaged by exploding depth charges on board the auxiliary ship Terre Neuve moored alongside on 6 July 1940.
Scuttled in drydock at Toulon 27 November 1942 to prevent her capture by the Germans.
Salvaged in 1945 and sold to be broken up for scrap in 1959.
