HMS H 34 (Lt.Cdr. B.T. Simons, RN) departed 'Port A' (Loch Ewe) for her 2nd war patrol with the special service trawler HMS Euryalus (later to be renamed HMS Hoverfly) (Lt.Cdr. E.C.L. Day, RN). (1)
