21 Nov 1943
Shortly after 1000X/17, USS Sailfish (T/Lt.Cdr. R.E.M. Ward, USN) arrived at Midway. Some voyage repairs were then made by USS Bushnell (T/Capt. C.T. Bonney, USN). USS Sailfish also fuelled and watered to capacity and one torpedo was exchanged.

At 1611Y/, USS Sailfish got underway for her patrol area. She had an air escort until dawn. (2)

2 Apr 1945
USS Dragonet (T/Capt. J.H. Lewis, USN) arrived at Pearl Harbor from the Mare Island Navy Yard. At Pearl Harbour she was taken in hand for voyage repairs and some more alterations by the submarine tender USS Bushnell (T/Capt. H.C. Fish, USN).

15 Jul 1945
Around 1015Y/15, USS Manta (T/Lt.Cdr. E.P. Madley, USN) ended her 1st war patrol at Midway. She is then taken in hand for a tender refit by USS Bushnell (T/Capt. H.C. Fish, USN). Refit was completed on 30 July 1945 and had included a docking. Excercises were carried out of Midway between 3 and 6 August 1945 with the focus on lifeguard duties.

6 Aug 1945
USS Moray (T/Cdr. F.L. Barrows, USN) ended her 1st war patrol at Midway. She was then taken in hand for a tender refit by USS Bushnell (T/Capt. H.C. Fish, USN).
