Patrol description

Ordered to observe the shipping in the North Sea off the east coast of Scotland, but was recalled on 29 August to prepare the boat for a mine laying operation.

Second part of the first war patrol - a mine laying operation. On 4 September, the boat had to abort the patrol because the LI became ill.
