Descripton: A good overview of the war at sea from the Canadian point of view. Some of the numbers given are not strictly accurate, mainly because much excellent research has been done in this area in the twenty years since this book's publication. Also, the sinking of the Athenia is not well treated; for a good summary of this incident, please see our web page. Overall, an excellent short history of the war at sea.
