Hi Julian,
Check out the links page on the OTW website.
There is a close-up picture of the hull that may
answer some of your questions. I\'ve read that
the Bertola kit has oversized rivets and other
hull features that are semi-scale at best. Also,
the prop shaft supplied with the Bertola kit is
contained within a stuffing tube until it enters
the prop housing, and this is quite unrealistic.
The OTW kit is faithful to the real Type VIIC\'s
in this respect.
