Hi Raymond,
U556, as built, had the tower without the Venturi vents at the fwd edge with 2cm single flak on the wintergarden and 8,8cm fwd of tower. Wood parts of deck were treated with a woodpreservative similar in color to creosote (very dark muddy grey with a brownish tint). Tower gratings same. All vertical surfaces light (\"haze\") grey, except below waterline where dark grey (almost black). No boottop stripe. All paints flat finish. Rgds, RB
