I wish you every enjoyment with this model. I have on "laid down" which I will get round to one of these days.
A tip with the decals, they are Revells matt finish type and notorious for showing carrier film when dry (aka "silvering") Adhesion is also suspect, they can peel off after a while.
Remedies include trimming away as much of the carrier film as possible before wetting, use decal solvent (Humbrol do a 2 part decal coat system) or apply to a gloss or satin paint finish and apply a matt varnish coat over the top.
Or, if you have a steady hand and rock like patience, you could paint the details in by hand!
