U-166 model

I have started building a nachimo IXc and would like to do it as the U-166. I have judged ships at numerous IPMS modeling shows and have seen the nachimo IXb/ Ixc kits finished nicely, box stock. I have never seen a modeler yet explore the models full potental.
The recent discovery of the final resting place of the U-166 has inspired me to do a IXc model \"to the tens\". I might, later, scatch build an SC565 in 1/200 to display together. In starting this nachimo kit I have 15 hours in the deck gun allready!
What I hope to find out is...
(A) What was the U-166 final AA configuration.
(cool smiley Any color / markings for the U-166 hull and tower.
(C) Any books, magazines articals, web page, ect... to help get her right.
The Shell Oil page has tantalizing photos but they do not help compleatly.
