Hi

Thanks for the reference to my website! Best way to see how bad it is, take the accurate Revell S-100 hull and compare it to the inaccurate Airfix S-11 hull. Keep in mind that the basic hull shape below the deck level did not change between S-11 and S-100 (with the exception of the stern wedge). The Airfix kit not only completely lacks the bow knuckle, the contours are plain wrong, and it is too tall. Personally, I think the Airfix hull sucks, but I guess that is a matter of what one expects from a $20 kit. Ultimately anything is fixable, even if you have to throw the Airfix hull out and use a cut-down Revell hull.
