U-boat type VII question..

Hi. I was just wondering whether any of you guys knew if there was a difference in the hull design between the type VIIC and the type VIID. I have some plans for both models but the type VIIC plan is missing the cross-sectional views so I was wondering whether useing the cross sectional views from the type VIID plans would still be accurate. I see there is a difference in the conning towers but thats not really a problem
