Allen,
I asked these same questions several years ago. I hate to tell you this but you will be disapointed. Most plastic U-Boat models are small in size and no one makes anything to a larger scale. If you want something that size you will have to by a RC kit that you could build or have built but you are talking some $$$. Don't really know how much you want to spend and or do you just want a model or do you really want to build one as well.
I used to know the location of a listing of plastic U-boat models on the web. I will try to locate it again. Until them try surfing the net by typing in U-boat models etc.
