I made the plastic thinner from the opposite side with a Dremel-like tool, than
cut the vents out with a sharp blade. It was quite fast this way.
I think it'll look much better if the missing details of the hull are there -- I have used thin plastic sheets (butter box, etc.) for this purpose on mine. Weld-lines were
made of spreaded sprue.
