The VIIC model is made by Doyusha. It has the same single prop, rudder layout as the Academy kit. Of course the hull is different from the IXb kit. I have both and in the process of converting them to r/c use. The IXb has under gone pool tests and been painted. Dark grey below the waterline, light grey above with dark grey tigerstrips on deck. The VII is next to be converted.
