Thanks for the comments and will certainly look at the insulation foam idae.

Rokket - I actually found your website yesterday and spent about an hour looking through your build. I have to say I can't wait to see the finished project and it's a shame all that internal detailing will not be visible. Plus it gave me a load of useful info about how to make the flood vents look accurate. Spent last night carving away to my hearts content.

Only trouble with looking at your site is it's made me go, "Oh, I like the look of the panels deformed under the first dive, and the weld seams, and..., and..., lol" I need to take a reality check and work out if my intentions can be met with my capabilities, lol. I haven't made a model in years, let alone detail one, so I may skip the weld seams and anchor repositioning. It may not be accurate, but I can live with that.
