U-576 Colors/Markings?

Folks:

I'm working on a digital model of U-576, that was recently discovered off North Carolina. Based on photographs of the boat published by NOAA, she appears to have had an overall gray scheme at one point, and a light/dark splinter pattern at other times. Does anyone have more specific detail about this boat? I've got most of the standard references, but I'm hoping to pin this one down a little more precisely.
