RE: U-47 Ventilation duct/Flender-werke

First, let me thank everyone for their efforts. The knowledge of this group is
amazing. I think we can be reasonably confident U47 at the time of Scapa
Flow didn't have the central duct. From my limited source material, I've only
been able to find boats with the central ducts which were made by
Flender-Werke, specifically U83, U86 and possibly U87. Anyone know of
any other boats with the central duct made by other yards? For now,
when I get this model finished, I'll leave off the U47 name plate. Maybe
something like : "Early Type VIIb, Flender-Werke Ag 1938" Best Regards.
