Antonio,

Thanks a lot for the info. You might consider passing that on to uboat.net as
I noticed it does not mention both subs were submerged on this site. That would be something interesting to read about as well. If the firing solution were obtained by
Asdic, that would mean U-864 had at least some warning. I wonder if they had any inkling it was a submarine?
I may have to look at the Jones book.
