Maybe the drawings I have is not as detailed as your\'s since the only tank
above the diesel engines in my drawings where labeled as \"Cooling water header tank\".
This tank starts just after cyl 2 and ends before the last cylinder. (also counting
from the rear of the boat)

Do you have this tank also? or is this in fact the diesel tank?

I\'m not sure I understand why they need a tank for cooling water unless they have
a closed cooling system with fresh water to avoid corrosion. And then this water
is cooled with sea water. But I always thought the engines where cooled directly with sea water. ah well..
