Hi Lawrence,
The M-Bock\'s and Sperrbrecher\'s \"Geraeuschbojen\" were paravanes towed at some distance to escape damaging the towing vsl when accoustic mines go off.
However, my understanding of the \"Geraeuschbojen\" were devices towed by allied escort vsl\'s to defeat the accoustic torps fired at them by Uboats. Rgds, RB
