I have read similar accounts. I recall one witness describing a \"greenish\" glow from underwater. I read a reference to batteries exploding when the inrushing sea shorted them out. Could it be these glows were caused by the batteries shorting and exploding? I would think that if the munitions detonated, there would be a geyser of spray, or at least on huge bubble.....
