Hi, Leif:
I´ve consulted my book \"Type VII U-Boats\", by Robert C. Stern, and it´s said that cabinet was the forward circuit-breker cabinet. In the plans of Type VII, I´ve noted there a small double door, but this door is 1,15 meter or more far from the bottom of the cabinet, and the size of the door is 1,45 x 0,5 m. Therefore, I think a man would be able to get into this cabinet.
Leif, how are you making your virtual U-Boot?. What program are you using ?. I think it is a wonderful idea. I´d like to learn 3D design, in order to make another model, in a very far future...
Bye
