Several months ago there were grid maps on ebay with pictures. From my observation of the maps which were sectorized and subsectorized so that the smallest all contained a specific EW and NS longitude and latitude increments. However, the largest sectors were dual lettered (AA thru ??) and each contained - usually 81 (9 x 9) smaller sectors. This eliminated \"zeros\" (double digit \"10s\") from location report messages. There is no way a mathematical relationship can be derived that ties the helter-skelter grid box designations to latitude and longitude. Simply put - no grid map - no location!

If you wish a list of the maps send me an email. Unfortunately, I do not have??? a copy of the ebay map. If I find one, I\'ll post again
