I would also like to know what type of equipment, manufacturer names, their specifications, transmit power levels and antennas were used. Since most communicating was done at night, only frequencies below 10 megahertz would be effective. Using encoded CW (morse code) transmitters could be of modest power; ie, 50-100 watts output to antenna. Since skip conditions vary with frequency and antennas must lengthen as fequency gets lower, I suspect frequencies in the 6 t0 10 megahertz region were most likely.
