Hi Theron!

Rohwer:Axis Submarine Successes of WW II,
wich reports every single Uboat and Submarine Atttack,
(successful or unsuccessful),performed by German,Italian or Japanese in WW II,
does not detail any Uboat attack,(successful or unsuccessful),on UGS-18.

Blair:Hitler´s Uboat War
and Morison:Hist of US Nav Ops in WW II,
does not even mention UGS-18.

And Rohwer&Hümmelchen:Chronology of War at Sea 1939-1945,
does not mention neither any Uboat attacks on UGS-18,
nor any attempt by Uboats to shaddow UGS-18.

On the other hand \"Chronology of War at Sea\" does not mention
the German Air Attack either.
The only info I can find of UGS-18 is from the \"Chronology\",wich states:

\"UGS-18 escorted by Task Force 63,with US Coast Guard Cutters BIBB
and INGHAM,destroyers WILKES, SWANSON, and ROE,
and destroyer-escorts MOORE, J RICHARD WARD, CHASE, and KEITH,
(US TF only to Gibraltar).
Norfolk 15 Sept - Gibraltar 2 Oct - Port Said 14 Oct 1943.\"

Best regards/Anders.
