Just punch some buttons and Voila! The pumps are on line.
This natural circulation power plant is not really a new idea. The USS NARWHAL (SSN-671), A STURGEON-class fast attack boat was the protoype for the S5W reactor, and was deployed on on
7/12/69 and decommissioned on 1/5/99. At the time of her construction she was the quietest submarine in the world.
