Hi,
Germans used two intercom systems:
- a voice-powered telephone, whit a phone in each compartment;
- a general announcement system, with speakers in each compartment. Some speakers (in conning tower, control room, forward and aft torpedo rooms) had terminals for connecting head-set with a additional speaker, for two-way communication.
