<HTML>Hello John and Brian,
by chance I read the following article after my last posting, it is from this Months Ships Monthly.
The submarine HMS Osiris, which for the last ten years has languished in Pounds Scrapyard in Portsmouth, may soon be on the move.A group of enthusiasts is trying to aquire the boat and convert her into a pemanant museum on the East coast with the port of Scarborough as one of the possible locations for the craft.
Talks are in an early stage but Osiris an Oberon class boat could be moved some time in 2003.
Maybe there could be another preserved Oberon boat.
regards Roger.</HTML>
