Fran, I hope my entry will be of some help to you. I wish I could remember the year (late 1970's I think) the ship was towed from the N.Vancouver harbor. My Dad told me it was sold as scrap to Japan, and he sat in his car in Stanley Park, under the Lions Gate Bridge and watched it disappear out to sea. He never talked about it again.
