Was interested in these postings - my Dad Arthur Emmerson was a radio operator from the Stonetown - was on loan to the Coast Guard ship the Howay when he was washed overboard in the Queen Charlotte Islands when I was about 2. He died in June of l955 - think that is correct timing without pulling out Western Union telegram my Mom sent at the time to family members.

As he and my Mom were either divorced or separated by then - I don't know all that much about him other than info. from my grandparents and his siblings - all deceased now too.

My Mom didn't care to discuss him very much.
