<HTML>Dear John, I would dearly love to join your association the information I have recieved so far has been unprecedented. sorry about the C. My mother was the nearest to the boy jack halford but was complety baffled why they did not recieve any information about the ships fate. It seems to me that so many were unaware of the ships fate after so many years. Perhaps the Navy were embarassed! Is there any momunt to the convoys fate? My mum would sureley like to know. She probably thinks she has not long to live but she will out live us all, even after smoking 20 Senior Service a day most of her life (she was married to an R.A.F. man all her life) a gallant man to.
