<HTML>ROYALIST was refitting at Devonport 1953 -56, commissioning in the RNZN on 17 April 1956; she sailed for NZ later that year and was in the Med. in Oct-Nov. 1956 with the 1st Cruiser Squadron at the time of the Suez Ops, but the NZ Government refused to take part; she could have been in Malta at this time. She arrived in Auckland in December 1956.

BELLONA had sailed from NZ in October 1955, to arrive in the UK on12 December to be returned to the RN. I have no details of her movements, but she could have called at Malta during her passage?
