HMS Witch

<HTML> I have a very good friend. His name is Lewis Walker,he is 90 yrs. old. He is one of the 37 survivors that was serving on the USS. Independence when she went down off the coast of Newfoundland. He was rescued from the frigid water by the HMS Witch to whom he is profoundly gratefull. Often in evening chats
this event would come into our conversation,in great detail. But he has often asked me if there was a way to find out what became of the HMS Witch.If anyone can give us some clue of her whereabouts or if they could download us a photo, It would mean alot to this old sailor, Thank You
