I am writing a book called "Brownsville Sailor" based on my father who also served on the Swallow AM 65 during the war. Did your uncle have any nicknames that might jar my dad's 81 year old memory?

I will be happy to ask him if he knew your uncle. By the way, I found a picture of the Swallow while researching for my novel. I think that I might have saved it on my USB (although I haven't downloaded it onto my computer). I will bookmark your page and send you what I have. I'll log off and check my flash drive.
