<HTML>GODAVARI was a 'modified Bittern' class sloop, one of four built for the Indian navy (sisters: Jumna, Sutlej, Narbada).
Built by Thorneycroft at Woolston, laid down 30 October 1941; launched 21 January 1941; completed 28 June 1941.
In 1947 with the partition of India she, with Narbada, became part of the Pakistan navy and was renamed Sind. Scrapped 1959.</HTML>
