Glad to hear that Uncle's ship was helpful and still remembered, you must have been one of the 26 crew saved from the destroyer Kandahar after hitting a mine.

I have information that she was eventually torpedoed by the Jaguar on the 20th December.

I believe the Jaguar was sunk by Uboat U652 and the captain was Georg-Werner Fraatz.
